Route 5 disruption - Wednesday 7 January

Services Resuming

• Route 5 trams have resumed but are running to a lower than usual frequency.

• A limited bus replacement service runs between St Kilda Junction (Bus Stop 246 adjacent to St Kilda Junction) and Malvern (Bus Stop 624 in Burke Rd) servicing existing stops where possible; bus replacements may take up to 45 minutes.

Tram service changes

Due to operational issues

• No Route 5 trams run between Stop 30 St Kilda Junction and Melbourne University.

Alternative travel options

• Route 64 trams in Dandenong Road
• Route 6 trams in High Street

• A limited bus replacement service runs between St Kilda Junction (Bus Stop 246 adjacent to St Kilda Junction) and Malvern (Bus Stop 624 in Burke Rd) servicing existing stops where possible; bus replacements may take up to 45 minutes.
